A Major Milestone

They say the first year's the toughest!! Not that I would disagree :). So how did we celebrate our first marriage anniversary?? Expensive gifts and romantic dinners are commonplace. We decided to do something different. Something most of us have never done before. A mud-bath in the mineral waters of Calistoga, followed by a jacuzzi, blanket wrap and a massage. Calistoga is a small town 25 miles north of Napa, well known for its hot springs, mineral water and geysers. It is also home to the volcanic mud bath which is said to relax muscles and improve circulation. I had been there once but never knew that the city had so much to offer. After the mud bath cum spa, we had lunch at a nice deli joint.
Time flies. First year was quick and exciting. Adventurous and engulfing. And well when your wife does all the cooking, its AMAZING . I hope the second year is no different!!
