Times are changing

Today I watched Inside Man. And the most titillating moment of the movie--it opens with Chaiyya Chaiyya. YES. The hit song from Dil Se makes a very significant presence in the Hollywood blockbuster. Moreover!. The movie also ends with a remixed version of the same song. It was wierd watching people listening to the Indian soundtrack and being clueless as to what the song meant or more so, what language it was in. It wouldn't be too overwhelming to see Hollywood movies having 2-3 songs in the near past. Not Hindi songs ofcourse.
We also went to Mission Peak today. I always wanted to go here and finally I did. I really like these kind of treks. Flushing meadows-- no thick forests--no tall trees. But its a really tiring considering the fact that the uphill climb does not flatten at any time. Things go worse downhill since it puts a lot more pressure on the foot for a good 1 hr. But alls worth for the scenic view. http://community.webshots.com/album/548948328hYTqpC
