More meat!

Chicken, pork, beef, duck, shrimps, crabs, eel, salmon, clams, and a variety of sushi. This is what you would get in a Chinese and Japanese restaurant called 'Indulge Asian Buffet'. Located in Belmont, a small city in the bay area, it is the 'sasta and acha' types. I had duck legs for the first time and was quite amazed at how different it tasted from the everyday duck curries. Sea weeds were not much different from the Indian saag. I gave a second try at sushi, but much to the disgrace of a true Bengali, I did not like it :(. Lamb and SNAKE were the only ones the chefs missed out on. Would I even like a SNAKE for that matter? I once saw them, lying in Macaroni Grill, waiting to be cooked and YIKKEESSS. It was so discomforting.

Sand dunes

There is nothing like it. Riding an ATV over the sand dunes. The place..Oceano sand dunes just near Pismo beach. Apparently it is the only beach in US where cars and trucks are allowed to drive. A very different beach and a very unique experience. Was real fun. I even managed to shove the ATV in air (which was kind of scary initially). Before reaching there I had some deadly country style sea food. The fried fish looked so lethal, that kuldeep (a vegan) couldnt eat his food until I bumped off to some other table far away from him. We also got a ride back (from the sand dunes) to our car in an absolute southern style texan truck with some old country music. For a moment it felt like I was in some remote southern part of US. Everybody had fun and got their GREEN's worth. :p
Just came back and gotta have some sleep now.

Who's the real enemy?

Brutality and insurgeny has plagued this era. Advocating the atrocities faced by their community, some bodies have terrorized the whole world. So who is to be blamed for the catastrophe? Is it the fundamentalists who are deluded and misguided in the name of religion? Or the master minds who organize and aid the felony? Should it be the people who allegedly invaded the boundaries for avid reasons? I think it is the artificial discrimination and differences prevalent between us through an intangible concept called RELIGION. Race, cast and religion has been fragmenting and isolating neighborhoods. These notions have been cultivated for ages and are so ingrained into each of us that it serves as our indentity. Fights for holy grounds, communal riots, more than half the battles fought! And the cause is as trivial as intolerance to each others way of life.
So what is religion? Manifestations of certain beliefs? Following different sons of GOD? It is perplexing that three religions Islam, Christianity and Judaism (Jewism), all believe in Abraham (Ibrahim) as the one who carries the word of GOD. Still conflicts and animosity prevail between them. Why don't we just follow one religion?Rather why do we even follow a religion? Why do we have to discriminate between races? Why can't everyone be equal and have the same view of GOD? GOD is too big to fit into one religion. Be it Jesus, Ishamel or Issac as the apostle, the crux is that they all pass the same divine message.

The Epic

Today I lost to Sourabh in foosball. It made me 30$ farther from being rich. The crowd - Simon, Trevor and Venkath. He won the first two games, I won the next two and then well. Damn itttt. We fought after the game for so long, since he wasnt ready to admit that I am better than him in the game. It was a heated discussion, but who cares? Was fun though. Those three guys watching were so into the game. Every game was so close that it could have gone either way with a single stroke of luck. And well that lucky ass had it today. The crowd favored me (I think), cause we are talking about one arrogant ass who thinks he can win any bet. LOLZ.
Had a really strenous week because of work and its time to relax.. A long awaited weekend...Sunday is the e-touch Open and darnnn...have to play in this scorching heat at 12 in the noon.
Laterz.
