Yard work!!

I am so glad that I got to do some yard work today. We have a maintenance guy come in every two weeks to mow the lawn, etc; but when it comes to fruit and vegetable gardening - it's all on me.

While we have a steady supply of lemons and coriander, I wanted to get some more useful items. Yesterday we went to Lowes and bought strawberries, seedless grapes and bluberrries for fruits, cucumber and peas for vegetables. These starter plants are really a nice way to grow something fast. I also did some pruning for the tomato plant we have.They grew as a bunch of creepers after which my neighbor told me that I needed to buy some support for it. It took me a while to tie all of them to a few wooden support sticks and hopefully they work out.
