I feel empowered

A good smartphone goes a long way. I bot iPhone 4S and there is not a single second I have regretted buying it. Much better than my windows phone 7 and palm pre.

Now I can have a log of all my physical activities - be it cycling, treadmill, lifting weights etc using RunKeeper.
I can go to any shop, scan the barcode and look for deals in my immediate vicinity using RedLaser.
I can listen to music in Caltrain with Spotify and Pandora w/o downloading a single song.
I can immediately blog using blogger for iPhone.
I can play dozens of games which were not available in the other stupid smart-phones I had AND
saving the best for last.
I can use Siri :)

Movies

We have been watching a lot of movies lately on Netflix over the weekend nights. Since we like to stay awake till 3, we have watched tons over the past few months. When it comes to English, two movies that I was impressed by - Blind Faith and Lifted. One is a courtroom drama and the other one is inspiring.
We also watched Chillar Party. It is the funniest Hindi movie I have seen lately - not that I have seen many Hindi movies, but it will be on the top of my list. The movie proves that you don't need big issues, or a big star cast to make a nice one. Simple and sweet can cut it too.

Looking forward to my in-laws coming for six months. Excited about our first movie in a theater after 2 years.
