Stuff

- Went to Vegas during July 4th weekend. Played poker tournaments and blackjack. Went to Rio's to watch the WSOP tournament, but instead was engulfed in the gaming expo where we got a lot of POKER goodies. Also did a day trip to Grand Canyon. I particularly don't like the canyon much and am still not convinced of it's fame.

- Was an audience to the Indian Ocean concert. Very different!! Very original!! A really down-to-earth group of talented people that play some great music. The tabla guy has a really good voice and the chap who plays the drums is very innovative.

- Have been playing in a softball league. Its a fun game. Rules are a little different from baseball. Our team (G-Crew) is not that good right now, but I am sure its moving in the right direction.

- It was my first time to a driving range. I did do some research on how to perfect a golf swing and all that, but believe me!!! It is difficult when you get out there. I hit a couple of good drives but none worth any accolades. THIS GAME IS TOUGH!!!

- Star-gazing. Its an interesting thing if you have never done it. It might be more interesting if you are cognizant of the constellations and different stars and what not. But hey I could identify the moon (LOL). Seeing the moon up close through that telescope!! Whoaa! I wish I could take a picture of that. Also saw jupiter and its four large moons.
